We put four 3" chlorine tablets in ours , to help keep our pool clean & clear every day.It floats around the pool safely ,with small openings on bottom , in the water .The lid has a couple pegs you turn the lid & it locks in place .Great to have working all the time ,when using the pool Or not using the pool !It's a nice size too ,not to small & not to big.We have a above ground circle pool...a couple thousand gallons.
